26+ years of building a photography business means working at a large variety of shoots, and all of it happens while also building a life. These types of shoots are no longer my main focus, but I still very much enjoy doing them when asked, because I have made many friends and built a strong reputation.

Like any business professional, I have a plan for growth, and I spend my time and energy marketing that plan. However, I also have a history for which I am grateful, a history that has brought me to where I am today.

Families

Because I began my business with 5 young children, it was natural to begin with photographing Families and Children. Over the years, my following developed and to this day I appreciate the confidence of those that want me to do this for them.

Special Needs

Because I have a daughter with Down Syndrome, I became comfortable and adept in the Special Needs arena. I developed experience and found joy in giving the pleasure of unique and attractive photos to parents who so rarely find them.

Graduations

Because I have had 6 teens over the years, and gone to camp with them all, I still have a heart for connecting with teens. This led to teaching photography and yearbook at a homeschool tutorial, which in turn led to many Senior Portraits and Graduations at this tutorial and beyond.

Other Events

Because so many have become a part of my life over the years, I will still do Retirements, Birthday parties and other types of events. Whether the need is personal or professional, I have always enjoyed sharing in and shooting events, freeing the hosts to oversee the many details and enjoy the time with their guests.
